Dig Day at the Britannia Mine Museum - Saturday, March 25, 2017
Delve into geoscience with DIG Day! APEGBC is partnering with the Britannia Mine Museum for this fun and educational event. Show your APEGBC member card and receive a $5 discount on your admission or a $10 discount on a family admission package (2 adults and 3 children).

Dream Big: Engineering Our World (IMAX movie) - Opens Wednesday, March 4, 2017
Science World, OMNIMAX® Theatre
Dream Big celebrates the human ingenuity behind engineering marvels big and small, and shows how engineers push the limits of innovation in unexpected and amazing ways. With its inspiring stories of human grit and aspiration, and extraordinary visuals for the world’s largest screens, Dream Big reveals the compassion and creativity that drive engineers to create better lives for people and a more sustainable future for us all. NEGM Drawing Contest – Runs throughout March

Run in partnership with ASTTBC, the 2017 National Engineering and Geoscience Month Drawing Contest asks children ages 4 to 12 to think like a geoscientist or engineer and draw a picture of an invention or discovery that would make a difference in someone's life (e.g., robotic arm or leg, clean drinking water, extract minerals and gases safely from the earth).

APEGBC Science Games - Saturday, March 4.

Annual APEGBC science competition for students, grades 1 – 6.
