IBPSA BC Event: Building Performance Modelling, A Holistic Approach

Event Description

IBPSA-BC and Cascadia Metro Vancouver will organize a joint education event on Building Performance Modelling: Policy, Design and Service. As the building construction industry adapts to more stringent energy use requirements, an understanding of how all phases of a project are impacted by earlier decisions can help performance over an entire life cycle. Speakers from City of Vancouver, RWDI and University of British Columbia will discuss building energy performance from policy, design and service point of view and focus on each particular impact on building performance modeling.
