We’re thrilled to share some exciting news — Focal has been awarded the ASHRAE Chapter and Region XI Technology Award for work developing the Comox Valley Regional Districts Decarbonization Strategy and Energy Plan. This recognition is a testament to our team’s hard work, innovation, and dedication to excellence in building performance. This is also a celebration we share with our partners on the project, m3 mechanical consultants, hcma, Advicas and AES Engineering.

The award recognizes outstanding achievement in the application of heating, refrigeration and air conditioning technology and celebrates successful applications of innovative design, which incorporate ASHRAE standards for effective energy management, indoor air quality, and good mechanical design.
